You can do your own research and make your own sort of links in your life. Look for the diagnostic criteria for both inattentive and hyperactive adhd. I believe as an adult you need to have 5-6 of the problems present in your everyday life and, if they’ve been affecting you since childhood, it’s considered adhd. If you want medication, a diagnosis and additional support you usually have to see a doc.

Sometimes other issues can make you have adhd behaviors for a long time so to be sure you need a doc that also has experience in adhd too. But you do some tests yourself and your people that know you too for perspective. And that helps.
