Fidgety Fidgets

I have at least two fidget spinners, two fidget rings, an infinity cube, a fidget dice thingy, and two bike chain fidgets as purposely made fidgets. And then I have my dogs ashes in a necklace and I have to wear a whistle for work so those end up being fidgets as well. All the intentionally made fidgets were so useful when I worked a desk job that had a tonnnnn of down time and a boss who was a micromanager so I couldn't just chill out I had it look active. Now I mostly just wear the rings on occasion and play with the infinity cube. And then my whistle for work has a bite guard so I do end up chewing on that 😂

I’ve got a Mechforce Hurricane spinner (had on me every day for the last 8 years), and recently purchased 2 mechanical rebound push sliders from Temu. I fidget most of the time, but especially so when I’m stressed, anxious, or have to really focus on something. I feel absolutely lost if I don’t have one with me at any given moment. Had 2 occasions where I lost the spinner and managed to go back and find it the following day the first time (fell out of the car into a bush when I was at the shops), and a week later the second time (was in the dog bed but I turned the house upside down and was convinced I lost it at the shopping centre). I’ve managed to lose the clear 3mm ball on the slider about 6 times and somehow found it each time.
