ADHD or depression?

I’ve never been diagnosed with depression. I’ve taken my adderall but it stopped working a long time ago so I decided to stop. Now I’m just so bummed out 24/7. Unmotivated and it seems like it’s not getting any better. I haven’t worked in a month and although I’m aware of the consequences I CANT GET MYSELF OUT OF THIS FUNK. 🙃🥺 any tips? I hibernate like a damn bear

I struggle with this too and anti depressants didn't help. I have comorbid major depressive disorder and adhd so i feel up and down often. I've learned the best way to feel okay is to understand some days we won't and some we will. The hardest part for me is the feeling of all or nothing. It's the hardest one to not let run around in your head but in those tough moments i remind myself to take it hour by hour or day by day and not think too far in the future. I have to remind myself pretty often and even annoy myself sometimes but somehow I keep pulling through. 💚💚 sending kudos to you, you got through another day!! 😁😁

It’s not that uncommon to have a co-occurring depression with ADHD, ADHD can be very challenging that gets you frustrated and depressed .. I had that, contact your doctor and get a diagnosis if you need it and get some antidepressant , Also, I have another theory that because of Adderall does not working anymore , you could be facing signs of Adderall withdrawal like being extremely tired and sleeping too much also depression so check if you can increase the dose and get better

She’s right! You aren’t supposed to just come off medications unless advised to do so- yes it’s your body but withdrawal symptoms may occur- deffo take it up with your doctor! Even if you go on the lowest dose & track your mood (with an app) whilst your not on it- and then again whilst you are, see if there’s any changes or patterns :)
