Your preferred clothes style ?

I was just wondering, how are you all dressing on here? Do you like simple stuff, no patterns? The more colors the better? Rainbow stuff? glitter, pastels - all black?? Kid core , decora, special themed fashion, gothic, sporty, minimalist…

It depends on what I have going on in the day

I like a tank top and underpants for the most part, but when I have to be seen in public, I wear as much rainbow trippy shit as possible

YES haha.. when at home, it may happen that I do most things in sports bra snd undies 🙈 maybe bike shorts to feel kind of dressed and a loose tshirt..but just any random shirt honestly or something funny/cute In public, I sometimes feel uneasy wearing too playful prints, but also because I’ve the last years the way their „patterns“ are limited to a square or cut out figure just seem so „tasteless“ to me.. I prefer structures to printed on patterns, avoid things that go off during laundry (glitter and velvet flocking for the most parts, but also heavy/inflexible prints but even sequins! Although I really loved metallic shimmery stuff when I was younger .. now huge sequin patterns send out the same vibe to me as randomly defined print patterns, just put there like a sticker/poster- I just think WHY? But basically, apart from doubts in taste I detest anything that might pollute water.. although for that part I still need to care more about synthetic/polyester fabric For me details of a piece of clothing are nice if they are connected in a deliberate way with the cut /shape itself.. so more subtle actually.. I guess my style of fashion is a weird mix of green overthinking and original ways to wear and combine pieces… Who knew you can also wear any button down shirt upside down? Makes for an interesting shawl collar! 😎

I honestly really like dressing up but I always feel like I don’t have the energy to put myself together so I mostly end up in sweatpants but when I pull it together, I pull it together well lol and I should do it more often

Yes, similar reasons for me! Also, if the closet is just brimming to the borders with options that they are sorted in such a way that it all fits in there but you can’t keep all the choices remembered - it is wasted space kind of. In terms of having not enough energy to decide on an original idea, it is also that I avoid having to sort it all back in there again aber ripping out all the possible choices out of their neatly folded clusters/ from their (layered) hangers- it is exhausting to squeeze it all back in if it is all packed so tightly but almost more exhausting to deal with the mental status if overwhelm when you see all the pieces you took out without meaning to wear them, just because of indecisiveness

It’s similar for me, just that my organization system in the closet is verrry crammed - so that it is everything so much work to avoid creating chaos by ripping all the possible chores out of their neatly folded clusters/ from their hangers. So most of the time the energy I avoid having to spend is the effort of cleaning up the mess afterwards! This is why I wear the same or similar outfit several days in a row, as long as it is still good.. applies mostly for when I don’t have to look „perfect“ This is why I still try to figure out the perfect system to store my clothes, also how to sort them. Biggest problem is thst I have too much for the spreche available/ don’t get to wear all the options because it’s hard to remember everything in your head when you can’t see it because it is rather hidden
