Well, being lazy is choosing not to do it, because you don't want to. ADHD paralysis is wanting to, but missing the whole starting point, which ends up with a shame/hate-loop. One is a choice, and another is a chemical imbalance in the brain, which makes it almost impossible to do something, even tho you want to or you know you have to do it

I would say : the shame. I felt such an intense shame not being able to do things, that it would have been really much easier to just do those instead of staying stuck.

This has been one of my biggest question after being diagnosed. I don’t have the answer but I judge by how much I want it done and how much I feel bad not doing it..😂 If I feel terrible and really want to get it done I know It’s the Adhd and not me being lazy.
