Why are some adult so strange?

Dad had a person over today from our insurance company. He was an expert on kids internet use and on parental control and stuff like that and dad is like overprotective so he pay a lot of money on my insurance and than this is part of it. I had to come home earlier from school and this man showed dad how to monitor my devices better and what I should look for. The thing I liked with him was that he actually wanted me to be involved and don’t hide his like “plan” for me. He told me and dad why monitoring teenagers was important and also told dad how he could respect my integrity and monitor me in the same time so like dad have changed settings to have less things reported to him on weekly basis from the parental control apps but if he feels worries he can always still check it up cuz my units give him like 100 authority over my accounts if he needs it. Dad and I have also signed a contract that the man helped us with so he promise to not look in my stuff just for curiosity and that he will tell me if he start to read my private stuff or go throw my pictures and sms but I have promised to always tell him if I open any accounts and to also always give him my usernames and passwords. As long as I don’t hide or lie to dad he will respect my integrity and the opposite. But then the expert guy was like: “Gabriel (that’s my dad) now I want you to ask your son to show all like social media accounts and other places there he can communicate with other people and Noah - I want you to be all open to your dad and give him the passwords and show him everything and your settings etc” then he also looked and then he se this account he was like: “Gabriel. This is a problem with his profile pic. I see it’s not him but AI picture but that kind of picture can draw attention from child molestors so my recommendation is that you don’t allow you son to have pictures of persons not even fake or AI persons online. I recommend kids to use a thing och like an idol or something as profile picture - not a picture of themself or another child. So here we go! I have now a new rule - no pics of persons in my accounts -not even a made up AI picture. So now my profile pic is like my atv instead. The insurance guy said it was cool and he was happy then I let him try it before he left 😎😜 I just think it so strange that it is adult that like do bad things to kids just cuz there profile picture- the adult word is really hard to understand. So now I’m not a boy anymore - I’m an atv cuz some adults are stupid! 🤣🤣

So that's why you changed your pfp? Oh, I really don't like the idea of being monitored by parents (that's just my personal preference. And sometimes it's needed to protect their loved ones) ... it's necessary if you already get that scary email from a stranger. Take care of your information and yourself.

My sister is one year older than you, and she uses smartphones all the time. Or maybe it's just because I was in a village where technology is slower(?) I used phone booth. We didn't even heard Apple before. My mom sold phones when I was in kindergarten. All her phones sold are with buttons

Yes that is smart I would say. Lot of like stupid men out there and you to old get pedos hunting for you I think but still like many men are not got to women either

When I put up my own picture, I get a lot of unwanted attention, even when I tell the guy (it’s always a man) that I’m happily married. The worst was a website I used for losing weight. So, I just put up something I like or something I think is funny. Back when I was dating, guys would send me inappropriate pictures also. You get less attention when they don’t see you.

Yeah- like you can see- I’m a piece of art, and I’ve used a foto of mine already on the internet and yes- it’s attracting lot of idiots and I’m not especially young nor that pretty. Still there has been lots more of creapy persons around my accounts, so yes- go with your ATV. I like! 😁

Thank you for telling me. I really don’t like then adult men (it’s always men) like first are really nice but then after a while the like send me a picture of their privates and like “what do you want to do with this” and it’s so creepy and I get like a little scared cuz I don’t want to se that picture inside my head then I go to bed. It’s like it’s hard to forget a picture like that’. Most time dads parental control hide the picture for me so it’s just a blur or a text like “this picture is inappropriate for children and your guardian have been notified” and I can’t open it and that is good. Cuz I’m also curious so if I could open it I would do that and then felt bad.
