ADHD Hack

As we know, we are overachievers and perfectionists, and thus, procrastinators. The advice we are given is to stop trying to make things perfect, which doesn't work. My hack is, to specifically aim for an 'ok job', not a perfect one. It has to be the goal, because we are damn good at achieving those. And worry not, our 'ok job' is still better than 90% of what's out there. Our basic is still high in the real world. Aim to be mediocre! It will still turn out amazing, cause it's you!

My mantra is : ‘Done is better than perfect’. Such an important reminder!

Stressed n semi depressed While trying my best to get everything perfect It's a curse with no purpose and I can't help but wonder whether or not I've done something to deserve this Even now With these words And the way I've thrown them together I'm certain id be better off not even pressing enter Not posting this poem as its far from worth .... I'll finish it later...lol

I needed this, that being a perfectionist mindset really takes life away in some sense.
