I don’t mind doing the laundry because the machine does most of the work, but it’s the putting the clothes away part I struggle with. Ugh.

Dishes! They are like trick birthday candles. As soon as you’re done- nope! They’re back! I also really hate the smell and feel of old food. With three young kids, I feel like laundry is my escape in a way. An excuse to be alone and to sit while folding. It’s warm and smells nice😌. Putting the folded laundry away
now that’s another story. I really hate that part.

Dishes. I actually enjoy loading the dishwasher because it’s like a puzzle, but unloading it and handwashing the items that can’t go in are not for me haha. I enjoy laundry because I have a system, but my wife is also ADHD and can’t work with that system so we end up with 4 baskets of clean clothes to sift through lol.

YES! Definitely laundry. Especially since I live in a complex and have to walk a ways to get to the room. So that’s three walks. Not to mention the card reader is horrible and gets me frustrated, which feeds into whatever else has gone on in the day 😱.

Kids laundry. They’re so messy and it is SO internally irritating if you don’t notice a stain until you’re folding the clothes. đŸ€—

Weirdly none
I do chores to stay busy, and if I have the day off and my wife does not, there is a good chance I spend that whole day doing housework

LAUNDRY I have piles of laundry stacked up. Then one week I decide to do laundry every day once a month. Quite frustrating. TIP: only have one laundry basket, that way the next time you do laundry you have to fold the previous pile of clothes first

Second half of it is folding kids clothes! Somehow sticking my arms into those pajama tops and bottoms REALLY bothers me! I do so much better in the summer. But then fall and summer comes and ALL those long pieces that are smaller holes to pull your arms through to turn the pieces around. And you have to turn them inside out to wash. And right side out to fold! Fucking shit! Whoever decided that did NOT take the adhd into consideration! Then you’re supposed to be that parent who’s good about putting the said laundry into drawers! đŸ™ˆđŸ˜±. Why! And where is Rosie!? I need Rosie! This is BS, we live in the “future,” and I STILL don’t have a Rosie who’s helping me with all these tedious tasks that drown me.

I was the dishes then use my dishwasher as a drying rack. That way the next morning I can just put them in the cupboards without doing the extra drying task

Get rid of dishes. If you have too many they pile up. If you don’t they won’t. I would do it if I lived alone but the last time I talked about it my husband went out and bit six more frying pans.
