I bite skin from my fingers and inside of my lips really badly when I don't have anything to focus my body and hams on

I deep dive into a new interest ALL THE TIME, basically obsessing over it for weeks. Then I get tired of it. And the cycle starts over.

I would say my obsessive behavior is, that I have to write everything down. Every single thought… 

Does anybody have any obsessive behavior maybe caused by ADHD? I can’t seem to stop skin-picking unless I have something to play with in my hands.
