Does anyone else talk so much it gets them in Trouble at work? What tips do you have?

Yes! Then fixing it makes it worse.

I think it gets me in trouble everywhere, not just at work. And I talk SO LOUD. I overexplain everything like I have to prove every point.

i feel pretty lost while being at office (i mostly work remotely). but sometimes i go to office to meet my colleagues and spend time with them and start over sharing. my personal tip is to think twice before sharing something that is nearly related to the topic , as sometimes it comes up as a weird fact which feels like a completely wrong shoe

I find myself over explaining things that need absolutely no more explanation 🤦🏻‍♀️

Over explain and over relate too. Why do you think you over-relate. I have an idea as to why I do it.

I do it... But it doesn't necessarily get me in trouble because I'm a stoic. My problem is that often I expose too much, I feel the urge to fill the silence and relate to the speaker. Because of that and some other things in my life, now I don't enjoy talking that much anymore, I actually want to leave before the convo starts.

I am a “relater” too. My 💩 ex HAD to point out that I always had to relate to others, but that I always had experienced worse or more, even that wasn’t my purpose at all. It made me stop participating in any group convo he was in at work. I had to ask people later if I seemed like I actually sounded like my ex said, but none of my coworkers shared his pow, but I still think of it, and I try to not point out that I relate to everything all the time 😅
