Anyone else have constant stomach issues?

Like the title says. I’ve had stomach issues my whole life, and I feel like a lot of the people I run into with the same issues also have ADHD! Wondering if there’s some sort of correlation.

So update that stomach issues are not as intense without dairy and gluten for me the bloating has definitely decreased noticeably.

Yes! Since I was a 2yo. I tried gluten, dairy and sugar free a few times in life and it helps a little (maybe because it helps everybody?) but it does not solve it, even being very restrictive. The issues actually got waay better when I started treating generalized anxiety disorder, but, again, didnt solve it. My gastroenterologist decided for another round of exams and for the first time there was actually a sign of an altered thing, a lowered enzyme production in pancreas, so he thinks my pancreas is hipofunctional and that alters my whole digesting process and some other problems. So for now we're going with that 😅

Bad. Some of it is from gluten and dairy and sugar, so I limit those, but impulsivity happens a lot and I fail to think or care about what I’m doing. But there’s also the constant hurry that causes me to bypass going to the bathroom when I need to, and the constant stress I feel in my stomach of not being in control and meeting expectations of my wife and boss. My stomach is always tight and often hurts. It’s bad.

A lot of my stomach issues resolved when I lowered my carb and processed food intake.

Yeah. I think for emotional comfort especially because I am stressed, I tend to eat more sweets and this leads to issues of stomach

@abradds14 if you’d like keep me posted about your experiences with your gastro. I’m having some relief these past 4 days going gluten free.

There is hidden gluten in a lot of stuff. So, sometimes you are not eliminating all of it. Plus, gluten takes awhile to clear from the body and the inflammation it can cause. You have to read everything. If it doesn't specifically say gluten free, it probably isn't.

I will! I don’t go until later this month but going gluten, dairy, and sugar free didn’t seem to help much. We’ll see.

I have a serious sensitivity to Gluten, which when paired with feelings of instant gratification from food, has made it really difficult to resist the urge to eat what I want! I feel in a way it’s made me a more conscious eater and has probably saved me from obesity… but I could still kill for a Big Mac right now!

Ouuuf I think I have paired it with such wonderful memories of my father bringing home Greek savory pastries 🥐. Like a ham and cheese croissant. So gluten free and dairy free for this month since it will help.

Yes. Constant. IBS. Ans serious food sensitivities and the worst is abnormal bloating.

The gastros I have been to have actually not been soooo helpful… but I think it was just the two I went to.

I have a dietician RD who has helped in the past I had gone on a gluten free dairy free nutrition but then I was not on medication.

Same here! I’m actually going to a gastroenterologist in a couple weeks to hopefully get some answers. Have you found anything that helps with it?
