Which medication works for you?

I started with Medikinet (methylphenidate) on May 1st this year. Started with 10mg and felt nothing, went up slowly and at 60mg I thought it might have some effect but not phenomenal in any way. The last two days I tried 80mg, but it didn’t feel any different. I have asked my doctor and I actually should feel a big difference from no medication to medication. The plan is to take the 80mg for 5 days and then we see where we are. Luckily I have absolutely no negative reactions to the medication, but I’m kinda underwhelmed by the positive effects. Did this happen to anyone else? If so, did anything help you better? I’m in Germany so the only options we have are Methylphenidate and Lisdexamfetamin (Elvanse/Vyvanse) - Adderall is not available 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hey, ich kann dir leider nicht mit Medikinet helfen, heute ist mein allererster Tag mit Elvanse – und ich spüre jetzt schon nen krassen Effekt (habe auch erst seit 3 Wochen die Diagnose), aber du bist der erste Deutsche, den ich hier sehe 😅 vielleicht können wir uns hierüber irgendwie connecten, wenn du magst? Habe die App noch nicht ganz verstanden 😅 Wünsch dir erstmal alles Gute 😊

Hallo Anna, danke für Deine Antwort. Bei mir ist die Diagnose auch noch recht frisch. Mittlerweile bin ich auch auf Elvanse umgestellt und kann nur bestätigen, daß das ein Riesen Unterschied ist. Würde mich auch freuen, wenn wir uns connecten würden. Gerade wenn alles noch neu ist kann man sich bestimmt gut gegenseitig unterstützen 🍀 ich bin nicht sicher, ob man hier private Nachrichten schicken kann 🤔 auf Instagram würdest Du mich unter martin.oswald.777 finden, vielleicht wäre das eine gute Möglichkeit 😊
