He’s 8, I’m 13, and somehow I’m the adult?? 🤣

Good morning! Soon my “little brother” will come here, he is not real brother but my neighbour Loke and he is 8 😎 He always eat breakfast here with me before school and then we walk like more than half hour through the forest together cuz he say it’s more fun than when his parents leave him at that boring school daycare place. His parents are super kind but actually toooo kind cuz sometimes they can’t even make him get dressed and then they just leave him in pyjamas and ask me if I can help him cuz he listen better to me 😅 and that’s just cuz I tell him what to do, no options. You can’t play nice with small kids or they go wild! He always do what I say but I don’t think he’s annoying. He’s just really cute and funny and he makes me happy cuz he’s probably the only person in the world who is even more hyper than me 🤣 He’s like my mini me 💙💙 Anyone else here also got a mini ADHD twin like that? (Im not allowed to post real photos so i asked AI to make a photo of us 👻😁 and it got a lot looking like us so im a bit impressed! 😍🫣🤗)

If his parents are getting ready for work, they may just run out of time. And since he is 8, he may listen better to you because you are his peer, not a parent.

Yes that is true but it also like they are very modern parents from the city so they are a lot different from parents around here and many things is really good like they listen a lot and take kids serious and that most other parents don’t do as much but they don’t discipline there kids and like instead of just tell him and make him understand that he have no chose and must obey they like start to discuss and negotiate with him and like it’s stupid to negotiate with a tired 8 yo cuz he don’t know anything about what’s best for him then he only want to go back to sleep. I think they are like afraid of make him get angry at them but it’s nothing to be sad about. Kids get angry and disappointed at there parents all the time and that is normal. I think Loke needs to also be a bit tough and he won’t be that if he pampered all the time. It’s hard for him in school cuz the other boys in his age are much more tougher and then they like dominate him. He need to stand up for himself and don’t get so afraid then the other boys are stupid. But I help him with that and he is getting more and more tough and I also help him in schoolyard if the other boys are mean to him. Then I become Lokes guard dog and show up at his side and then the other small boys get afraid and stop.

Yes then living like me its not like a lot of kids i can walk to cuz its really rural here and then it will be more normal to play with kids in different ages cuz that is whats availible and like then it comes to Loke i actually prefer to play with him next to many friends my age. I don’t like that most kids my age is only talking bout dating and stuff. I think that is only complicated and makes a lot of drama and i can do drama then adult not now.

That’s sweet. I grew up as an only child until I was 13 years old. Then my mother had my sister. I know how lonely it can get.
