Need help with motivation to exercise? Me too!

Hey all! I’m in Australia and I’m making a commitment to get up early tomorrow and do a short workout. Would love to know if anyone else has struggled to implement daily exercise and if they have any tips to help?

I struggle so hard here even though I love working out. I try to just prep my workout stuff, sometimes be excited for a new outfit but the first step is I always just focus on putting on my gym shoes and picking up my things

Great tips! Thanks everyone! I didn’t get up at 6, but I got up at 7 and did a 20 minute session (progress not perfection as they say!)

When I first started the gym I was able to go everyday at 0515 and then all of a sudden I wasn't able to go at all for almost ten months. I find having an alarm go off away from my bed so I have to get up helps and wearing some gym clothes to bed also helps

That sounds exactly like me - went 6 days a week for 9 months then woke up one day and have not been back for about 8 months. Cannot get myself back there - too overwhelming. I felt fantastic when I was going but it’s not motivating enough to go back 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

I need help with this to but i find doing it in the morning if possible is the best way to combat the procrastination problem just do it first thing in the morning and don’t go so intense i personally get overwhelmed and anxious if i do high intense sometimes just start out light with a walk or jog

I work out when there’s someone to meet - delight/ disappoint. Sometimes I organise to meet friends at a particular time in zoom and we work out remotely but togerher
