Energy amounts
Hi! Does anyone else feel like they just don't have the same amount of energy as others? I have always felt so bad about myself because of it. 8h workday 5 days a week seems impossible for me.. By Friday I feel like a dry raisin. Now I started to take adhd medication and it really helps staying focused normal work hours but I think I just can't take the regular amount of work as it's "required" by society. Before I would procrastinate till late in the day or work in time patches, also feeling like a loser for that. (I'm self employed since 2018) So when a hyperfocus or inspiration would strike I would work like crazy because that's the moment when I could catch up with everything and I wouldn't want to loose the momentum.. And that would lead me to burnout very quick. Either I got sick (if I kept working like that fow a while) or just couldn't do anything the next day. Plus being a woman also comes with fluctuations in mood and energy because of hormones.. So I felt like I could normally work for maybe a week, 2 at best. Please let me know how you feel about this!
