Is anyone else blind to what’s staring them in the face?

Or is it just me? I mean, I can go dig and find something. Or if someone in my family is looking for an object. It’s under the folded up paper that all the corners are folded down, near the purple blanket five steps before the backdoor. But me trying to find something 😳. 😭 Where is it?! I beg for help! No one can find it, then suddenly I hear someone laughing because it was LITERALLY staring me in the face where I was. I just DIDN’T see it! Damn near fell down the basement steps missing my husbands shoes. My “cat-like” reflexes saved me. And by that, I mean I stumbled down a stair or two, and killed off one of my lives.
