Season it with fun

I try to always put a fun or pleasant task in my To do list. This way, I don’t end up avoiding my tasks. And usually, I keep this task for the end, or I put two and « use » one midway of completing my list. What are your tips to make sure you go all way through your list?

That's great advice! I also put in some 'tasks' that are more like rewards, but they feel more useful if I put them in my list^^

I always put rewards after I get something done! Seems to really help me. Sometimes it’s 10 minutes of YouTube, sometimes reading, sometimes nothing at all if I’ve been busy all day. Sometimes a snack. Whatever motivates you! And you don’t have to complete tasks all in one go. It’s okay to break stuff down or leave something a little uncompleted. I’ll put what I need to remember or complete in parenthesis in my task list and that really helps too. If I was in the middle of cleaning the sink and got bored or didn’t care enough, etc, I would do something like this in my task list: (give 5 more minutes to cleaning the sink). That way I don’t expect myself to do it all at once and it’s okay to come back to something not finished. Hope this helps!
