Hi! I am co-founder of this app. How we can make it better?
Tell me everything
Tell me everything
group chats please please. and let people create ones thru age groups (people in school cant always relate to people that work) and certain subjects like cleaning or relationships or procrastination and stuff
Maybe the opportunity switching the language.... It took so much energy to write down it in english
Maybe I'm missing something but it'd be nice to be able to comment in our squad or something,i think. It's odd to me that there is this message board here but we only interact with the squad through kudos
You could partner up with focusmate! Having someone to be visually accountable to has been a huge productivity boost.
Can it sync with Apple Reminders app? I like my setup on there and don’t want to have to use multiple apps for lists.
When I am adding to dos at night in dark mode, the space where we write is completely white and very harsh to the eyes at night. It doesn’t change on dark mode, if you could please?
It’s pricey, I gotta say. And a bit overwhelming at the very start. The order/way things are introduced feels off. I tend to need to know what things are before they’re sorting on me so pop ups without a lot of sense to then distract me, as opposed to drawing my attention. So maybe for me it lacks intuitiveness at the beginning? On the plus side, as soon as I saw that I would get a reward for finishing the insta story on procrastination, I thought oh finally. This adhd app actually understands what my brain is like. I’m impressed so far.
An overview of how it works would be great. I keep wondering if I’m utilizing it to its full potential.
This app has definitely helped me as much as my therapy sessions did without the huge expense. My struggle is tasks. I understand the brain dumping section and how there is an option to help prioritize and rearrange them. However, if I were to break down half of my tasks into steps, my to do list becomes extensively overwhelming and I won’t like to look at it. If there was a way to say add up to 3 sub tasks or a note section, it would appear to look less cluttered and more organized. Example: brush teeth; brush, floss, mouthwash. Then be able to check off one task instead of 3 separately. It’s less tempting to also look at your phone and get distracted.
I know everyone wants to customize this app more but the reason I’m using it is because it’s so simple without flourishes. I get overwhelmed with to many subcategories and options. This is really helping me get things done because of the little party explosion when I check off a task, the stories, and in the tip I can prioritize the tasks. I like that it helps me do that.
1. Can you add Russian languages? 2. API opening for exporting tasks in Notion 3. Add Tasks category (personal, business) 4. Page of todays tasks view 5. Tasks priority
1. There should be way to control notifications. It’s not nice to get 8 kudos in a row at 1 am & receive notification about it. I don’t want to turn off notifications completely, i like reminders so hoping that this gets customized. 2. If you want to manually arrange tasks on your board you can drag them down but not up at times. 3. I am stuck at level 21 because points are being deducted rather than being added 4. There should be an option to put a note to each task if needed
I really find the daily tips valuable and would like to see them first when I open the app. Also it keeps “stopping” on the tip about an up tempo playlist….why? I had that happened to me earlier (on the playlist one as well), and it lasted for close to a month I think. This one has been the same tip for about a week or so. Please please make sure those keep updating! Otherwise there isn’t a lot of incentive to keep checking the app for me. Thx!
I would love a place to “organize” my tasks. I understand the simplicity is a key in the brain dump section, but I would like a way to either add like sub-tasks, or categorize them into folders or something
Small tip first: usually the Numo team has the “from numo” suffix in their handles. This helps identifying each one 😉 Now to the question. I know that as a startup, you are seeking and have already attained multiple funding rounds. It worries me that over time you will overbloat the application and add more buzzwords (e.g. “AI”) to justify future rounds. There will always be that pressure. I hope the design, founding, and developer teams can resist that pressure though because with too much complexity the app will get harder to use. TLDR: ADHDers already have lots of sensory issues and a dominating sense of overwhelm. Making the application more complex and “whimsy” every release over time will add resistance to using the application daily and lead to **lots** of user churn over time (in the app forum you can already begin seeing messages from people beginning to get overwhelmed by the app). By the way, thanks a lot for the entire Numo team’s work. It has been an extremely valuable tool for my daily life! ☺️ All the best again to everyone and good luck 👍
I would like to have a brain dump space because sometimes I dont know when I want to do a task.
