If you are struggling with frustration about what you “should” be doing, what you are doing “wrong”, etc. ADHD begets pure anxiety!
It can. Emotional regulation is an executive function that, like many other functions (like bathing, eating, etc), can be difficult for us. Emotion dysregulation means we may feel emotions very deeply and have a hard time rallying them. So if you are having anxiety problems, it can be worse when you are struggling to regulate it. Things like mindfulness, CBT, and movement can help us learn to press an emotional "pause" button.
