Dinner?

I really struggle with comming up with what to make for dinner and feeling motivated to cook most days and it gets boring eating the same things over and over again 😩 Does anyone have any good easy dinner recipes that doesn't require alot of time or effort? Or have any advice on something that can help with the motivation that has worked for you? Would really appreciate it 🥰🌸 Only thing we don't eat is pork, a lot of fat due to stomach issues and we are lactose intolerant in the family.

I found that AI has helped a lot. You can put in what ingredients you have and it will give you a recipe.

I enjoy cooking but I also sometimes have a tough time deciding what to cook. One thing that helped me as far as organization is an app called Recipe Keeper. It is a paid app but I use it a lot. You can copy a link for a recipe on the web or take a photo, and Recipe Keeper can scan the page for you. The main advantage is that I now have my favorite recipes all in one place. Here’s what I’m going to make today, in case it appeals to you. It’s a variation on stuffed cabbage that doesn’t require stuffing the cabbage. I’m Ukrainian and we called this dish Holubtsi. Based on a suggestion from a friend, instead of going to the extra work of parboiling cabbage leaves and trying to roll them up with filling without tearing them, I’m simply going to brown some ground beef, sauté chopped cabbage and onion, add cooked rice, and add the sauce ingredients all in the slow cooker and let it cook all afternoon on low. I’m sure you can also do this on the stove top.

Oh my gosh I want to run a partition to ban dinner 😵‍💫 it’s seriously the bane of my existence and my day seems to revolve around DINNER!! I’m either buying things for it, making it, planning it or cleaning up after it! Ugh… Right.. rant over… things that have helped this dinner hater is.. 🥦 veggie chop - cutting veggies and putting them in glass containers. I usually do enough for a week. Two containers for each night (carrot, pumpkin, sweet potato) and (broccoli, cauliflower and beans) aaand that’s about it.. working on the rest 😓

I usually go with chicken/fish and rice/potato and some veggies to keep the balances plate. I think we should do cooking courses here on Numo. What do you think?
