Mental health

I have Schizoaffective disorder with some ADHD in the mix as every day is another battle that I want to win but sometimes I really can't at all.

I have it too. It makes for life on god mode some days. also makes for people to treat us differently. my advice, let em. It doesn’t define you at all. Remember only you can define you.

Orion, if someone else were in your shoes.. someone you cared about.. would you be just as hard on them as you are on yourself? What would you tell someone you loved who was in your shoes? My husband has schizo-affective disorder. I don't envy your situation. I'm narcoleptic. I sometimes start dreaming before I actually make it to bed. It is disconcerting.. and at least I know it's because I'm tired and I have a sleep disorder.. I can't imagine going through that kind of thing on a daily basis. We all have days where we quit for the day. That's okay. As long as you get back up tomorrow and try again. It's hard for most people to empathize with something they will likely (and hopefully) never experience.. but you do. Don't be the exception to your own empathy, okay? ❤️
