Your tools need to be cognitive Prosthetics.
Having ADHD means, there are certain things you can't do at least not with a Neurotypical amount of effort. I am able to thrive with my ADHD, because I look for ways to delegate those cognitive responsibilities to apps and timers and computers and so on. To call these things cognitive prosthetics is not a metaphor. They are quite literally a stand in for executive functioning in the same way a prosthetic arm is a physical stand for a missing arm.
