Your tools need to be cognitive Prosthetics.

Having ADHD means, there are certain things you can't do at least not with a Neurotypical amount of effort. I am able to thrive with my ADHD, because I look for ways to delegate those cognitive responsibilities to apps and timers and computers and so on. To call these things cognitive prosthetics is not a metaphor. They are quite literally a stand in for executive functioning in the same way a prosthetic arm is a physical stand for a missing arm. I love this (especially the term cognitive prosthetics!), I’m always looking for strategies for making things more streamlined. I used something similar to the Eisenhower matrix but it had slightly different terminology (it was called the impact-effort matrix) and you split tasks into Quick wins (low effort, high impact), projects (high effort, high impact), fill-ins (low impact, low effort) and scrap (high effort, low impact) - really useful!
