Earplugs
Does anyone use the loop earplugs or something similar for auditory overstimulation? Do they work? Are the worth the money? Or are there better and cheaper alternatives?

I have bought two sets of loop earplugs. They work great, but I keep losing track of where I put them. There somewhere in my house... I was gonna make my own earrings that I could attach them too... but I keep forgetting to do that. 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ ADHD is hard.
I couldn’t live without my loops. I don’t sleep in them every night but I do sometimes. I literally couldn’t do my job without them and even wear them in the cinema to help me block out other people.
I have loop and wear them religiously at work. I bought two strengths so I could have protection based on how sensitive I am at that moment. Love love love them. I would pick something else for sleeping though
I love the loop earplugs I have, but if you go to home Depot and get the big over-the-ear protection? I love those.
I tried loops for sleeping but not comfortable for lying on. Use silicone putty to block out noise. Never thought to use them for blocking out noise during day. Will do now though
Yeah I have the loop ones. I only wear them when I'm trying to block out a lot of noise and can only really hear the person next to me. Which is fine because it's usually my partner and he got them for me so he knows to speak a bit closer to my ears when they're in. But also I go super quiet when I'm wearing them, like instead of raising my voice I speak really quietly so I don't wear them as much as I thought I would. Definitely have saved me from a few sensory overloads by having them in my purse at all times though.
