I literally write every single rooms name... then each job that needs doing in that room. Then when I do one little job cross it off and it makes me feel good seeing how much I have done

That’s honestly why I love this app.. like just seeing my list helps but the confetti is like my little treat and makes me want to do more lol

One thing. Choose just one thing like tidy cushions... dust table and stick to that one thing. Once you've completed it you might want to do something else... you might not but at least you have started.

Set an alarm for 5 minutes. Start task. If after 5 minutes, you want to stop, stop. If you want to keep going, keep going. Co-cleaning also tends to work well. If you have a supportive friend, if they naturally start cleaning, you likely will too, without a lot of extra mental energy

I can totally relate. I either have *all the energy* to clean or none. Sometimes I’ll take 3 post it notes and write a very simple(but high impact) task on each one. Then I give myself a time frame, like set an alarm for 10 minutes. I say “in 10 minutes I’m going to do these 3 tasks and then I can have another break.” Usually once I get started with these 3 tasks it feels much easier! I put tasks like “carry dirty dishes to kitchen” and “throw away trash”. Easy to do but instantly makes things cleaner!

I love this question! What I do to get started is literally clean what’s in arms reach! Then my anxiety makes me want to reach further.. and before you know it your booing around the whole house.. I also make myself a snack so I kinda “reward” myself in between 🌈🖤
