Its been suggested that I have undiagnosed adhd

Since thinking about it I believe I may have. But it’s also raising more questions than answers. Is my job role safe? I’m a senior carer? How will a diagnosis change things . Does anyone have any advice or support?

I think it’s just more of how is the workplace going to be able to support? Are they going to be able to help in anyway? People in my work place like to moan about things (some of which, I just completely forget about)

Yes, you can absolutely still do your job! Knowing what your challenges are, don’t make you incapable of doing your job it just gives you some guidance as to aware to look for how to improve yourself

Welcome to the tribe 😊! I can totally relate to your questions, I had very similar. I wanted to have an official diagnosis after suspecting that I might have ADHD because of the opportunity to get medication and ergo therapy etc. but that’s something everyone has to decide for themselves. I guess it’s natural to question the own role after a potential diagnosis but the sooner you know that the better you can adjust your lifestyle and create a supportive environment 🌻
