Unfortunately I struggle with emotional eating and impulsive eating. Studies have shown that a lot of women with ADHD have disordered eating. But it’s not entirely on us women, a small number of men with ADHD also struggle with disordered eating. I think recognizing that I’m in an unhealthy mood helps me to curb disordered eating and choosing carrots or water instead of binging on say donuts or cookies… is a better option for my health. It doesn’t quite solve the underlying problem, but it’s a baby step towards healing. Hope this helps.

I try to be healthy and drink water but I always end up eating. There has to be some sort of CBT to help this. I hate having ADHD and having this food addiction. It's so frustrating.
