Adhd meds

Do you use any meds for ADHD? If you do, which one? How does it work for you? I'm on vynvanse 30mg alongside sertraline for anxiety. I was first only medicated for generalized anxiety disorder from 2019 to 2023, but most cognitive and emotional symptoms persisted. Once I started on ritalin + antidepressants my life really, really changed. Even the GAD got better.

Vyvanse 30 mg and am experimenting with estrogen patches since I also struggle with PMDD and estrogen is a precursor for dopamine in AFABs. I still struggle with starting tasks, but once I know what I’m doing my meds can usually sustain focus for a decent amount of time. It also unfortunately makes hyper focusing while scrolling on my phone very appealing 🫠

I’m on Dexadrine 15mg. But also on Cipralex and Abilify for depression and Clonazepam for anxiety. I guess you could say I’m a real hot mess. I was misdiagnosed for most of my life as being bipolar. But once I researched ADHD I asked my psychiatrist to test me and bingo I fit the criteria to a tee. Now with being on the Dexadrine all of my lingering symptoms that weren’t addressed by the other meds have now been put in check. The big ones were the compulsive shopping and procrastination (that’s why my house is so cluttered). I am finally taking my house and life back!

That's a very common misdiagnosis :( but also frequently comorbidities. I'm glad ur feeling better!

I take Biphentin and love it. I used to take Concerta, didn’t mind it but prefer this. Just more focus and less executive function issues

Har egentligen ADD, kör Concerta, 54mg. Testat högre dos men får bara stress och ångestpåslag. Känner att det hjälper mig att hålla fokus, driv och även ökat vilja till att vara mer social och ta tag i saker

My experience with 20mg Adderall 2x/day started 4 months ago. My life has gotten better for sure, not as good as I’d like, but better enough to warrant taking the med. I can actually go out to events and do things where there’s a crowd. I get about 3 hours in before I get antsy enough to have to leave. I used to not go b/c I was so worried about how I was going to feel. I lost some weight that I wanted to lose & put on from a previous med. I take these both (separately) before 1:00 p.m. so they don’t keep me up. If I miss a dose I’ll feel a little tired, but that’s it, not feeling ill or anything.

Je prend de la Ritaline et ça me permet d’être plus concentrée et moins impulsive ! Je suis tellement soulagée d’avoir ce médicament ….

I'm taking strattera (60 mg) and I chose it because I didn't want to take a stimulant , and also my older sister who is a nurse is on it & liked it, as well as my younger brother. It has helped tremendously, and for the first time in my life I've actually been able to keep my place clean (or minimal mess). I still deal with task avoidance, but it's easier to get over the barrier and just make myself do things than it has been before.

I am just now trying Concerta (alongside Wellbutrin). I'm not impressed yet, but I'm on the lowest dose. I still get better results from Kratom tea... Which is what I'm comparing it to.

L-theanine, bacopa monieri and antidepressants. Most effective combo. Could be strattera as well with l-theanine
