Hypersensitivity

I did horrible in school and get overstimulated over everything. I am actually very smart, just easily distracted and bored and go “too hard” on too many things at once

Yep, I’m extremely sensitive to loud noise, have a high IQ, and was diagnosed with adhd.

Yup. I’m sensitive to loud noise and any scratchy fabric. Even medication doses, too. I got put on a small dose med that made me vomit. The NP who prescribed said it’s unusual for that med. I’m definitely emotionally sensitive. I absorb people’s negativity and have difficulties in work environments where people don’t control their stress. And I’ll get pretty salty with people I’m close to if they tick me off.

Oh, yes. It's hard to remember this in the moment.
