Try Harder?

Yep. Constantly. But maybe we need to try softer?? If you’ve been diagnosed with ADHD, research shows the likelihood that you’ve experienced trauma in your lifetime (completely unrelated to ADHD or closely related; either or both) is very high. Would anyone consider trying out “trying softer” with me? I very much need an accountability buddy!! No need to actually purchase the books. I’m listening to both as audiobooks on the Libby app (free access to tons of audiobooks). When I finish each book, I’d like to dive into her companion workbooks. They are available on Amazon for a good price. I just know I am going to need someone tackling this alongside me so I can actually stick with it!! Give it some thought… and let me know if you are up for it! 🩷

Yes, yes! I will mirror your pace. That will totally help me feel accountable! Once you look at it and determine how much you’ll aim to read / work through weekly, daily, etc. then we can get started. I’m so excited!!

I've got my version (via zlib, if you want more details just ask, you can get books there for free) and will start reading now since I'm intrigued 😅 I will tell you how far I've come. Have you started yet?

I've been told to "try less hard" the last few weeks, which is why I'm very interested in "trying softer" and being your reading/ mind-travelling-companion if you still wish to take that journey with someone 😁🥰
