How to sleep (alone) with fever?

Ok don’t think im like a baby now but i really don’t like to sleep alone then im sick. This is like the second time in my life then im sick and not allowed to sleep with dad. I always sleep in his bed then sick but its the harvest now and already one employee and me is sick so dad can’t risk being infected by me so he said he was sorry but this time I have to be a big man and sleep by my self.. I do it for dad, I’m not a baby, I understand he can not be sick now but it’s still lonely and scary cuz I wake up all the time and then it’s hard to fall asleep then feeling sick. Dad let me sleep in Livingroom so I can have tv on in background so it not get all dark and silent and I’m allowed my phone in bed so I don’t need to just think scary thoughts and he said if it don’t work out then I can come in to him of course but I will not do that. I’m 13 I have to manage this. Do you have any advice how to make it less hard? I’m really very mature in other ways so please don’t just tell me to stop acting like a baby. It’s scary and it’s not like I want it to be…

First, you will get past the notion that doing my suggestion is for babies. But when I am alone and I don’t want to be, I cuddle with a stuffed animal. 🧸 It still feels nice, even though I’m in my 50’s, and it also has helped me when I’m stressed and squeeze myself tight 💤 , because without the stuffed animal I’ll feel like I’m waking up to a heart attack.

They are called Snöis, Hundis and Rävis that means like Snowy, Doggy and Foxy 🤗 i got them all then i was a toddler and i still love them and i also have a German shepherd that sleep with me. But its not like dad 😳💙

I don't know why...Just one day my grandma had to go visit her sick sister, and then I could sleep by myself. It's hard and lonely. But you could do it😪

Maybe if you're lonely, you could try some bedtime music? Or just go play. Because you could sleep later in the morning (Ahem, not good for your health this way)

Yes i did! I always sleep by myself normal night then not sick. I did it for like 2 years now but then sick i wake up and then its a bit scary all dark and silent and then i like to sleep with dad cuz he is not silent then he sleeps 🤣🤣 and then i can tuch him and hear him I feel secure and can fall asleep again cuz nothing can happen to me then dads around 💙 But I sleep all night this time and then I woke up dad was already working but I called him and he will be back tonight but our neighbour that is mother to a lill kid I use to babysit will get over with lunch to me soon and she is nice. Like she is a bit like a mother to me and that’s good cuz she is like gentle in a way dad and other men are not. 😍

Get well soon 🤗 When I‘m sick I hear audiobooks and podcasts in a continuous loop. Maybe you put on a little bedsidelamp instead of the TV at night because the blue light of the screen will make sleeping harder. I think you do good 👍🏻 Being sick is awful

Thank you! I will ask dad if he can give me a storytell acount. That like audiobooks in Swedish and English. I mostly read paper books cuz dad say I have to do that while my eyes are still good and that if I don’t read I will get stupid or something but now it’s hard to read cuz I get to tired so maybe listening would be nice!
