Adderall dosage?

What do you guys take? The generic seems to be fine too. I am getting used to the dosage so fast!! But I really need it to be functional at all! 😭😭 Also, I have a psych who is afraid to prescribe more or be looked at by the system, I think. I take 20 MG, 1 insta, 1 XR per per day. And it's NOT ENOUGH I wanted him to prescribe me two of the XR a day instead, but said they'd look at us (though my daughter's doc said that was BS) I also hate the ups and downs of the instant. But the extended seems to be nationally short all the dang time, too. :/ And I'm getting to the point that 20 and 20 just isn't cutting it anyway!! Any advice ? Ideas? Other things that work? Supplements to add? Other Medications that worked for you in a similar fashion (I have ZERO motivation to start or do anything without medicine anymore. :( And I'm in Idaho, if it matters) Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

I take 30mg xr in the am and 20mg ir in the afternoon! I only take the 20mg if needed, though. I've also added vitamin D&K, NAC, and a prebiotic. The vitamins have really helped me a lot!

15 mg XR in the am. Supposed to take it twice a day, but it’s too high of a dose in the afternoon. Couldn’t get it for awhile, so I was using old instant release, and when I finally went back on the XR, I felt AMAZING. Soooo much better for me!

I am on 10mg extended release once daily. I love it. It is enough to reduce fundamental challenges of ADHD so they become manageable

I take 20 xr in am and 10 xr in the afternoon. I have 7 kids and days are so long. Instant release makes the evenings intolerable for everyone including myself.

Another idea is to take a break if you feel your body adjusting if you can. I’ve been able to stay on my low dose cause I have one day pretty solidly a week I don’t take it (who needs to pay full attention in church? 😏)

I can’t handle the XR. I need to do more of a micro dosing situation or I’m just one big panic attack.

10 mg 2x a day. Can do up to 20mg if need be. But I’m a super lightweight.
