When im struggling to break through inertia, my sibling often supports me by simply being present. Having them in the room, on a zoom call, or even on the phone helps me have a sense of accountability which helps me get started and redirect back to task faster. There are a couple of companies that host accountability zoom calls designed to provide a sense of being noticed which encourages staying on task.
I have also had some success using timers or, if possible, going to a specific location like a library to put myself in the headspace of whatever it is I'm doing.
