My ex (also likely ADHD / ASD) without realizing it, used it to numb her feelings. It’s healthy to give yourself a day or two to really feel everything, and make new decisions with those insights. Good luck 🤗

Weed affects the ADHD brain much more negatively than the neurotypical brain. This helped me take the beginning steps to quitting. Also, if you are like me and just naturally have an addictive personality and it is just currently on weed… try swapping addictions? Try to become addicted to something positive like working out or a new hobby. Something that is relaxing, will slow you down, and will put you in a good head space (not unlike weed). Maybe start doing some deep breathing, mindfulness, prayer?
