I'm sorry your parents are denying you care.

That must be very frustrating for you. First of all, do you really need permission of your parents? Depending on your age and the county you live in, you could ask help via your school or your general practioner. In The Netherlands for instance, it is in certain cases possible to get medical help without permission from your parents from an age of 12. What are the objections from your parents? If it is money, try to find free options for diagnosis, for instance through social healthcare. If they simply don’t think you have ADHD, you could ask someone who’s opinion they trust, to talk to them about it. Tell this person carefully why you think you have ADHD. For instance grandparents, your teacher, or a friend of the family. Good luck!

Google the three types of ADHD. A list of symptoms will come up for each hyperactive, and inattentive. It will tell you how many symptoms you need to be considered one or the other. If you have x amount of both it's called combined

Follow ADHD accounts like “How To ADHD” on YouTube, for example. If you see things that are extremely similar to you, you could even show it to your parents to prove your point.

Plenty of tests online. Or start following ADHD pages on IG. If it's VERY familiar, you probably are.

Ask for help without them; if you are a minor ask for help in school.
