ADHD Drinks
Anyone else have like 3 different drinks in front of them most of the time - especially at your desk? For me it’s usually water, coffee, soda, and/or an adult beverage at home 😂… I’ve heard this is an adhd thing

Thats what they call a Beverage Goblin! That's me totally! Look up that term online, a little song about it too, hilarious! I have 3 drinks right now!
Omg YES!!!! Need to buy one of those mini heating coasters for my coffee so it doesn’t go cold!!! And also remove the 3 empty glasses and cold mug of tea off my desk 😂
I forget to drink water tho’ I Fill up alot of bottles with water and leave in the fridge, then forget all about it. But redbull, cola and juice I always have one drink with me everywhere and a lot of half empty cans all around the house hahah
I bring water with me everywhere so I have that and coffee and sometimes soda or Gatorade all at once
Omg. This is so funny. One of the pet peeves of both my mom and partner is that I leave lots of water glasses around, usually half filled with water. Also tea that I made and forgot to drink… had no idea this was an ADHD thing.
Wow I truly thought I was the only one!!! This app is brillant… yes I always have a energy drink and or coffee, something fun like juice or like a smoothie and I have to also have water… and my last job I got asked daily do you have enough drinks? and I’d laugh it off but like I always wondered why I did it I just never truly questioned it til people would pick on me for it🙀💕🙏🤷♀️🧃🧋☕️🧊
Haha, omg! I thought that was something only I do. Never thought that was a adhd thing😂😂 Thank you clarifying this. Every time someone makes fun of me, I’ll let them know.
I never finish any of them. Plus I have to have something fun to drink out of. Like a fun shaker bottle. I highly recommend Biosteel.
Omg yes! At work they make fun of me because I have coffee and either some water or other beverage and I switch back and forth. Coffee for the caffeine and anything else for the hydration!
Omg yes! I’m a beverage girlie! I have my water bottle I take everywhere and I often want a fun bevvy at home
I usually end up with 2. I can't function without my water bottle in my hand, then I'll have an energy drink and sometimes a smoothie.
Yup, always. I get so upset when boyfriend cleans them up. It kind of stresses me out if I only had 1 drink. I mean what if I change my mind half way through a drink??
HAHA. all the time - at least 3: water 💦 , tea 🍵, coffee ☕️ sometimes plus smoothie and plus vitamine-Drink 🤷🏽♀️✨
Thank you for writing this. I don’t feel alone now. I can’t wait to tell my husband it’s not just me.
Omg my partner is always asking me why I have 3 drinks on the go and I’m like I donno I just do ok! Lmao 🤣🤣
Yes! I swear at work I'm walking around the store with three drinks at once, only to forget where I put them 😂
In my home it's: kombucha, arizona tea, yakult (costco knockoff version lol) Must have to do with water being boring for the brain/ needing caffeine? Haha
All the time. I have a protein drink, propel water and then my water with pineapple crush In it, an energy juice drink. I used to drink energy drinks or pop but I had the gastric bypass so no more carbonation for me
I don’t drink soda (sensory issue with the carbonation) or alcohol, so it’s water, coffee, and smoothies for me.
Celsius, Coke Zero, water. Everyday. I often have other beverages around (2-3 at a time) but I never finish them all!
Also why are they just so much better when you buy them!??? My at home coffee just isn’t as exciting as a treat coffee from the drive through….. gets treat coffee basically everyday
Sometimes it is the glucose syrup in fancy drinks that makes them taste so yummy, or the slight flavor of vanilla in many drinks.. so much for taste~ but considering the consistency we feel in the mouth- it is at least like that with pre packaged drinks like lattes and espresso machiatos from the store fridge- they contain THICKENERS! Caragen, Xanthan, Konjac to name a few~ Why do we need that? Why do they assume I want my coffee or „smooth“ fruity milk product-based beverage like a soup-hybrid?! I feel betrayed
I always stumble into work with a Trenta iced tea and a Trenta iced coffee from Starbucks lol. I work 12 hour shifts in an ER and need the energy plus I need to hydrate. At any given time at work I’ll have those drinks on the go plus a water and gingerale too haha
Never heard this as an ADHD thing, but I definitely have several drinks going at once, too! Water, coffee, and I’ll have a soda or some crystal light or juice, too.
I have 2 half-empty water bottles, a soda, and juice at this moment. I didn't know it's a thing! I also show up to work with at least 3 different things...
Water and chicory coffee (sometimes regular). I have stayed away from carbonated drinks since I stopped drinking—no particular reason for that.
I didnt know this was a thing, but yes! One fizzy, one tea and a water all dotted around the house where I've ditched one, forgot about it and made another. No wonder my washing up pile never gets smaller lol
Yes except they're not always in front of me. Most of the time I set my drink down while I'm doing something and then forget where it is and can't find it to save my life. I'll find it the next day or someone will ask, “Do you know why this Sprite Zero/glass of wine/cup of congealed latte is sitting on the barbecue outside?
