1ySorry I know this is a super late reply, but it’s possible that if you’re really trying hard to succeed with your work, your using a ton of effort and brain power to keep yourself on task and get things done. Like, if it takes an NT person X amount of energy to complete a task, it can often take us 2x the energy to do the same task because we keep having to rein ourselves in. I very commonly find myself to be totally exhausted at the end of the day, even though all I do is sit at a desk all day. Mental tiredness is legit.
