Remove all “shoulds” for how eating should look. Three meals per day, cooking for yourself, etc. It’s all made up, so you can make up what works for you and is as low effort as possible. I usually eat something like a clif builder bar in the morning. I keep a lot of easy freezer food on hand, and healthy snack items that don’t require prep. I almost never cook food that requires much effort.

In my case, it's stomach and bowel issues causing a severe lack of appetite. I do have a whey protein shake with 30% fat daily, though.

Eating in the morning kicks metabolism in for the day. When I've needed to eat less due to bad circumstances, I would wait to eat until later in the day so that my hunger would go away and my stomach would shrink. Try to do the opposite to feel hungry more often.

Keep snacks all over and, if needed, set alarms. I know my meds kill my appetite so some days I’d go my whole workday without eating so I set a lunch alarm so I at least eat something once a day.
