Mimic

Does anyone else have PMDD, Depression, and ADHD? PMDD and ADHD have characteristics that mimic bipolar disorder. I’ve been misdiagnosed before but sometimes feel like because I have all of them it basically is bipolar. Am I right in thinking that?

Yes. ADHD and Depression have characteristics similar to Bipolar 2. My daughter was initially misdiagnosed in middle school by a pediatric psychiatrist. Her diagnosis was later changed to ADHD and depression. She is now 30, has a job she loves and no longer needs medication for either. I too have ADHD and Depression. Once or twice an acquaintance has asked me if I’m bipolar. I am comfortable with my diagnosis but when I hyperfocus or I’m excited about a project or doing something I really enjoy, I feel a bit manic. It makes me understand why there is confusion.
