self programming
This technique only indirectly relates to ADHD, but it helps to redirect the train/vector of thought πβοΈ Have you ever noticed that when you learn some new information, you start encountering it everywhere? Or that you see the brand of your favorite car everywhere? It seems like our brain attracts things and processes we think about. More precisely, our attention focuses on things that are stored in our mind's cache. It's possible to control this and create the reality we want. What should you do? Write a self-programming diary. How it works is clear. How to write it? Write down the thoughts, qualities, and achievements you want to experience. In text form. You can use a list form, but it's better to write it in sentences, in the present tense. Do this every morning. Reread, add, rewrite, play with it as you like. Also, in your everyday life, pay attention to what you're thinking. Ever since I started thinking more and more in English/Hebrew instead of russian, I've had fewer destructive thoughts because I haven't gotten USED TO tormenting myself in these languages yet π₯² I learned about the self-programming diary a few months ago, but many things in my life have already changed, aaaand accordingly to what I wrote in my diary π₯³π I also wrote and still write: "I am disciplined, focused, and calm. I start tasks right away and don't procrastinate." And it really has improved :) Wishing everyone a wonderful day!π«
