Anyone else?

So I will be in the middle of a task then realize there is even more than I thought to do and I just shut down and am like oh well I will do more tomorrow. Does anyone hit like a brick wall sometimes with Tasks?

This is the story if my life and the older I get the worse it becomes! What can we do about this?

Always. I have been moved into my house since last week of April. I still have boxes and stuff everywhere. So I decided to do at least a box a day. Problem.. I empty the box and get stuck on where to put it and if I should throw it away.

I don’t know if it’s just me but this is admittedly my superpower. You’ll never see a better written paper from me than one that’s due at 12am that I finish at 11:59 and post in by 11:59:30. Don’t get me wrong, there have been times where I would cry or put myself through through intense emotional stress.. but then.. bam! I hit rock bottom and my brain does a 360 and writes like there’s no tomorrow. Next thing I know it’s the next day and I’m all good again 😂. Life is strange.

Always...this is the story of my life. I'll have a uni assignment due tomorrow which i haven't started, spend half an hour on it and get overwhelmed and give up while somehow simultaneously convincing myself I can get it all done tomorrow.

Yes! & then by the time I get to it the next day, I am again overwhelmed or get distracted so easily & I either put it off another day or it gets continuously pushed aside!

Yes! I get overwhelmed easily. I either shut down or get super frustrated.

Same! I call them boomerang tasks. I usually am not proactive about doing stuff done, but feel great when im on a roll. Having named it boomerang tasks strangely lets my mind wrap around what im in for, and lets me feel okay with the frustrations.
