Leave your shoes ON

I’ve found it helpful to combat Procrastination by keeping my shoes on when I get home from work. Once I take them off I know I’m done for the day. Try it, let me know if it works for you.

I really dislike any kind of shoes, my toes need freedom to wiggle and giggle... if I'm forced to wear them (at a spa for example) I'd literally loose them (!) everytime leaving a sauna or pool... but for me it's the clothes! I need my "ootd" and daily make-up on, or else nothing will be working (well at least not me, on smth productive)

Same! I’ve noticed if I put my shoes on in the morning versus not, directly relates to my productivity

I have special house shoes (fuzzy slides) I put them on as soon as I take my shoes off after school, works for me!

Wow this is a great idea! We have a practice in our house if taking our shoes off when we get home just for cleanliness purposes but I think I will get some house shoes that are actual tennis shoes or at least little meds or something. Not just slippers or something. Thanks so much for this!

Yes I put my shoes in at home 9-5 like a work day. I find myself way more productive during the day

For me it’s pajamas. The second I put those on, I know I’ve mentally checked out and I’m not going to do anything else productive in a day. I even did it where I was in a meeting. We started it, zoom ran out, so while I waited for the link to come through I changed. The second half of the meeting I was just so mentally out of it. I felt like it HAD to be the pajamas. I know I’ve heard some women talk about it all being about the bra 🤣.
