Pomodoro?

Do you have any hacks or tip on how to start using the Pomodoro timer? The idea of using it stresses me out; I've tried it, but when I finally start a task, it's time to stop... I haven't managed to use it more than a couple of times. Thanks!

Sometimes I skip my break if I’m on a role (which helps me get to my long break faster, which makes it kind of exciting for me). Although, sometimes if you skip your break (depending on how long your work timer) you can end up burning out faster. I’d try it both ways and see which one is better for you.

Maybe give yourself one 25-minute session to prepare and then, after 5 mins of getting some movement and a couple of deep breaths in, actually START the task in the 2nd 25-min session? Maybe this kind of acceptance helps: it’s okay to take a while to get ready for the actual task, no need to rush. If you give this a try, I’d be curious to read how it plays out :) good luck! Personally, I was hesitant at first, too, and it took a while, but I have come to LOVE the Pomodoro technique :)
