ADHD at work

Lately I have been having the hardest time getting things done right at work. I miss details and people get frustrated. I just want to know I’m not alone and see if anyone has an idea for keeping details straight for multiple projects.

I'd say the best thing is to let your colleagues know that you have ADHD, and that it comes with certain struggles. These mistakes are (in my experience) not something that will go away or "get better" (depending on what the mistakes are ofc). While you should try your best (emphasis on "your"), it is easier once you accept your limitations, that you are going to make mistakes again, and don't put yourself down or compare yourself with neurotypicals.

Thank you for the encouragement! I’m trying to help them understand. They’re all neurotypicals who think ADHD just means I should be bouncing off the walls.

What kind of work do you do? Multitasking is generally bad for mental health and especially bad for ADHDers.

If you could give me a very brief description of your day-to-day task, With a note on what’s mentally challenging for you to perform, perhaps I can help you automate some aspects of your work using AI. i’m a business intelligence and data analytics consultant and have spent some time with automated workflows. My wife has work in logistics for a long time so I’m familiar with what she does.
