I’m overwhelmed

I feel very cluttered in my brain to the point I can’t even think of tasks to complete it’s like too much. I am like hyper fixated on learning things for my business but also feel physically fatigued but can’t actually calm myself down to relax my brain keeps going. Idk what to do or how to help.

When I’m wired, cannot get my mind to calm, sleep is elusive, and I feel like I’m going to pop, I exercise. Not an exercise routine but something like running as fast, as hard, and as far as you can. Breath deeply and maybe repeat? I’m not an athletic exerciser. This is more like a way to release a stress valve. PS: Hyperfocus can be our superpower. Perhaps allow yourself to be hyper fixated on learning things for your business, for now. ???

Second that last part 100%! I recently embraced that that is a STRENGTH! We are able to deep dive into new stuff like it's nobody's business. That is a super power baby, ride the wave while you have it. Your body is fatigued so while your mind is active absorb all that info you can. In between, try to nourish your body like exercise the above poster mentioned, eating well (pay the adhd tax and get stuff you don't have to cook if you need to), and when your brain is exhausted let yourself rest in stillness. You will do all you need to, our schedules and habits just work differently than others and its to our advantage if we embrace it

Have you consulted with a therapist or a psychiatrist or an adhd coach?

I think in situations like this you have to force relaxation onto your body, anxiety is felt physically and then mentally. Try to squeeze your whole body, shrug your shoulders, close your eyes tight make fist and tighten your leg muscles and release. It is a way of making your body forcefully relax. Do 2-3 times and start there. You’ve got this <3 happy Tuesday

Yes this is so great! There is also a tapping method where you tap under your eye, your neck, your collar bone to just get you focus on the tap so you let go of the tension in your mind. Dr Tracey Marks on youtube has some great methods like this and she speaks very compassionately about adhd
