Did any of you managed to read The Lord of the Rings?

Given the length of descriptions, I have never managed to get concentrated enough to read it. No issues with the Hobbit though

I could not concentrate enough to get through The Hobbit. I’ve restarted dozens of books 10 times or more each.

I did, pre- children. Come to think of it, I did a lot more things ( that I didn't even realize I don't do much anymore) pre- children. I do audiobooks now. My physical books just kinda look pretty.

Hahaha! Same! I have that huge Lord of the Rings book, but no, never read it, just started a lot of years ago… and The Hobbit was easy :)

Audibles been a revelation for me! Have even worked through the Great Takes on audible! Children of Hurin, Beren and Luthien e.tc.

Hahaha! Thanks for sharing! Guilt I guess helped me finish it... And to know that it was shorter than the other one so the pain was shorter!
