Im in shock.

I updated my Numo and they whole structure is changed 🙁 I can’t find my squad, and I am sad to say that I think my squad doesn’t exist at all anymore. I feel like there should be more explanations done before doing such a big change… now I have to actively choose the team I want to belong to…? But what if being put in a group automatically was good for you because you could feel like you belong -without having to actively search for connection…and feel pressured to interact…. Why couldn’t both co-exist? As an adhdr I’m not always able to socialise, because of burn out etc, but I still want to belong… and maybe sometimes I will want to actively connect with others. I don’t want an app, that is supposed to help me give structure in life, to be this unpredictable….

@camelita I didn’t realise I was in a squad until they changed this - I thought my feed was everyone on Numo 🤣 I really dislike how limited the squad options are, and wtf is the difference between being a parent and being “overwhelmed”…?? If they wanted to group people together by shared interests they should let us join multiple squads, instead of making us choose one individual characteristic or temporary mental/emotional state to identify ourselves with! I hope they fix this, but in the meantime I’m glad i still get to see you on my feed! I enjoy your posts 😊 Honestly, I didn’t think there was much of a community on here but it seems I might have been wrong.

Hiiii ❤️ I’m so glad hear from you!! I definitely noticed your presence in the squad and read your posts ❤️ I feel you! I also feel limited by having to put a label on myself and decide where I fit in. I never actually fit in, so I was kind of happy with the “unfit” in the squad… I felt less pressured 😅 But I will adapt to the new order I guess… I still haven’t joined a team though… are you in any of the teams? Maybe I’ll join the same one as you 🤗

I agree I think if you wanted to have certain channels that’s fine but have it like discord where there is the option for both

Thank you for offering me to have a team with my old squad members. I’m not sure that will fix it though. The great thing with the squad is that you don’t have to make a choice, you belong automatically, you don’t have to search for a place to fit in, which now is the case, we have to make a choice to find like-minded. But many of us are overwhelmed, burned out, tired etc, and having a squad chosen for you is a signal that we belong even when we can’t contribute more than just getting through our days. It’s a passive way of belonging and double buddying without having to socialise. On your days when your energy is extremely low, and have nothing to say, you still belong. I just think the jump was too big. The squads should have been kept… And there could still be a development of the part where people can choose to connect more over cooking, or what interests we might have… I don’t know how to explain it better than this… And I feel like I am loosing time, I don’t have the motivation to do my tasks because no one sees it now anyway…. and I have no time to search for a team because I’m a single mom working full time and managing my adhd and my daughters adhd…
