I agreed with Jonas. Clear Texts make me feel the need to concentrate on them and Audible (which I love listening too)makes me fear to miss the Story when I stop listening actively. So classical music or ambient sounds are good for my brain.

I cannot sleep without the sound of rain. It’s the only thing that helps my brain relax even with high dose sleeping meds

I like to have old sitcoms playing. Because I’ve seen them many times before, they provide some noise without being too interesting and causing a distraction. I don’t watch them, just listen

It helps me at night to sleep, if you have an iPhone it comes with a few preloaded ambient sounds and the ocean one is the perfect mix for me to quiet my brain and focus on relaxing

I get annoyed by it, but I love to listen to audible as background noise

Sometimes! Both ambient sounds and ambient music (or a combination). I usually focus best when not having music with (clear) vocals and lyrics though.
